Ferrite cores are used to fit cables during installation in areas with EMI (electro-magnetic interference).

Low shielded and analog cables such as VGA cables can be affected by nearby EMI, crossing power cables and distance of signal send. Use the ferrite core to eliminate ghosting / interference on signal by clipping on one at each side of the cable.

Ferrite cores can be used for any other type of cables to eliminate signal interference. Please check that the specific ferrite core width matches you cable width.

NOTE!!! All High Shield VGA cables we supply already has ferrite cores on each end and additional ferrite cores not needed.
