It will convert video from a HDMI source to VGA / HD15 / D-Sub (15 pins, 3 rows of 5 pins each) but it will not separate audio from HDMI the stream and output VGA video. The HDFURY Products / Ultimate 1080 model HDMI to VGA converters will separate audio from HDMI stream to an audio output where audio is also needed.
