Much cheaper than the Griffin or Moshi adapters, and works perfectly. Had some initial difficulty in finding out whether my iMac could send audio through the Mini Displayport, but found this handy tip to check if it is possible: Click on the Apple logo....Select About this Mac.....Select More info.....Click on Audio (integrated) and check if HDMI is listed as part of the audio capabilities. If yes, then this product is perfect for you. Just remember to Option-Click your little speaker icon and select your TV to play the audio.
