Cautions when watching 3D contents

1. It may cause drowsiness, headache, or giddiness when watching 3D program for a long time. Take 10~15 minutes break every hour. Stop watching 3D videos immediately when you have any uncomfortable feeling.
2. Pregnant women, seniors, people with heart problems should avoid watching 3D programs.
3. Watching 3D program may affect children’s visual development, especially for children under 5 years old.
4. It may harm your vision when watching 3D program too close or for a long time.
5. Remind children to take rest when watching 3D programs for a while if necessary.
6. Do not use Red/Cyan or Amber/Cyan glasses when driving. Please use Red/Cyan or Amber/Cyan glasses when watching 3D programs only.

Operation

Mode 1: 2D Program to 2D HDTV - When you want to convert 2D program into 3D effect and watch via 2D HDTV

- Use Red/Cyan or Amber/Cyan glasses to watch.
- Level of 3D effect can be adjusted.
- 3D format output: 3D Red/Cyan or Amber/Cyan.

Mode 2: 2D Program to 3D HDTV - When you want to convert 2D program into 3D effect and watch via 3DTV

- Use Shutter (or Polarized) glasses designed for 3D HDTV
- Level of 3D effect can be adjusted.
- 3D format output: 3D Side-by-Side (Half)

(1) Users need to wear an active Shutter (or a passive Polarized) glasses to watch 3D effect videos on 3D HDTV's.
(2) If the 3D HDTV requires an active shutter glasses for 3D viewing, please make sure the active shutter glasses can match with the 3D TV.
(3) If the 3D HDTV is a passive polarized 3D TV, please make sure the passive polarized glasses can match with the 3D TV.
(4) After converting, if you see two images (side-by-side) on TV, you will need to use TV remote control to select input 3D format (please refer to TV’s manual), to make two images into one 3D image.

Mode 3: 2D Program to 3D DLP Projector - When you want to convert 2D program into 3D effect and watch via 3D DLP Projector.

- Use Shutter glasses designed for 3D DLP Projector
- Level of 3D effect can be adjusted.
- 3D format output: 3D Frame Sequential (for 3D DLP Projector)

Mode 4: 3D Program to 2D HDTV - When you want to watch 3D program (e.g 3D Blu-ray disc) on 2D HDTV with 3D Effects.

- Use Red/Cyan or Amber/Cyan glasses to watch.
- 3D format input: Side-by-Side (Half) supported.
- 3D format output: 3D Red/Cyan or Amber/Cyan.

(1) When converting 3D programs, please make sure the original 3D program is side-by-side (Half) format.
(2) Other 3D format (Frame Packing, Top-and-bottom) will be supported in next generation box.
(3) Source Device (Player, STB, Receiver … etc.) need be setted 16:9.

Mode 5: 3D Program to 3D DLP Projector - When you want to watch 3D program on 3D DLP Projector (Note: Please make sure 3D function of 3D DLP Projector is ON.)

- Use Shutter glasses designed for 3D DLP Projector
- 3D format Input: Side-by-Side (Half) and Frame Packing 720p (50/60fps) supported.
- 3D format output: 3D Frame Sequential (for 3D DLP Projector)

(1) Users need to wear Shutter glasses to watch 3D effect videos via 3D Ready DLP Projector.
(2) When converting 3D programs, please make sure the original 3D program is side-by-side (Half) format.
(3) 3D Frame Packing 720p (50/60fps) can only be converted to 3D Frame Sequential (for 3D DLP Projector).
(4) Other 3D format (Frame Packing, Top-and-bottom) will be supported in next generation box.
(5) If using 3D DLP Projector and you feel the 3D effect is not good enough, the 3D glasses and the 3D DLP Projector may not synchronize the left and right image to eyes correctly. (Left eye should see the left image; right eye should see the right image.) Please reset the power of the projector or 3D glasses or reconnect the HDMI cable to synchronize the signal.
(6) Some 3D DLP projectors can not support 1080p 3D video. The image will break off shortly sometimes. Please set the output resolution of source device (Player, STB, Receiver … etc.) to 720P or 1080i.
