The Redpark Console Cable (C2-RJ45) allows a field engineer to perform router maintenance, troubleshooting and disaster recovery operations via a Cisco console port using their iPhone, iPod touch or iPad.

DESCRIPTION

The Console cable is a specialized serial cable that connects an iPhone, iPad or iPod touch to the console port on networking gear.

It is designed for use with the "Get Console" app which is purchased separately and is available on Apple's "App Store". The Console Cable is not compatible with other iOS apps.

The RJ-45 connector is wired per Cisco console port spec. This is not an ethernet cable.

It supports communication at speeds up to 57.6 Kbps and requires iOS 4.3.x or later.
