Overview
The 4-Port KVM Switch is an electronic keyboard/video/mouse (KVM) switch that controls 4 PCs from a single keyboard, monitor, and mouse. It has complete keyboard and mouse emulation for simultaneous PC’s boot-up process. The user can select different PCs by using Keyboard HotKeys, front-panel push buttons, or letting the KVM Switch do an automatic scan. Setup is fast and easy, plugging cables into their appropriate ports is all that is entailed. There is no software to configure.
NOTE!! This unit does not include KVM Cables and KVM Cables need to be purchased separately for the amount of PC’s connected to the KVM switch and are available at 1.8 Meter KVM Cable. You will need one KVM cable for each PC connecting to the KVM Switch.

Console Side
One VGA monitor, One PS/2 keyboard, One PS/2 mouse.
Computer Side
Four 3-in-1 custom KVM-KVM cables for VGA, PS/2 keyboard and PS/2 mouse if 4 PC's used. KVM cables not included with switch and needs to be purchased separately for amount of PC's connecting to switch.
Installation
Console Connection
Before installation, please make sure all of peripherals and computers have been turned off.
Plug your VGA monitor into the port labeled with a monitor icon on the 4 ports KVM switch-a.
Plug the keyboard and mouse into the ports labeled with a keyboard icon and a mouse icon on the 4 ports KVM switch-a.
Computer Connection
Attach the female-HDB15 end of the 3-in-1 custom KVM-KVM cable to the port labeled PC1-PC4 on the 4 ports KVM switch-a,plug the keyboard,mouse and video connectors of the attached KVM cables into their respective ports on the computers you are installing.
You can now turn on all devices and computers and start to go KVM switch.
Note : The 4 ports KVM switch Power On default is to link to the first computer you turn on.
Operations
LED
Normally,a LED lights to indicate its corresponding port is on but not select; a LED is off to indicate its corresponding port is off;a LED flashes to indicate its corresponding port is the one that has the KVM focus.
Push button
Pressing the button cyclically through all the ports.
1 --> 2 --> 3 --> 4
Keyboard Hot Keys
The 4 ports KVM switch - Hot Key Commands can select a channel directly.
Hot Keys are entered by pressing and releasing the left Ctrl key[L-Ctrl]and then pressing and releasing the right Ctrl key[R-Ctrl], lastly pressing and releasing [1~4]( the numbers .1. ~ .4. at the upper row of the keyboard. Note:Do not use the keypad at the right of the keyboard).
[L-Ctrl]+ [R-Ctrl]+ N(N=1~4) - Selects a computer connected to the PC port N.
Note: The operation must be finished within 3 seconds.
Auto Scan Mode
The 4 ports KVM switch Auto Scan feature automatically scans through computers one by one at regular 10 seconds intervals so that you can monitor their activity without having to take the trouble of switching yourself. To invoke Auto Scan Mode, press and release the left Alt key[L-Alt], then press and release the right Alt key [R-Alt].
[L-Alt]+ [R-Alt] - Auto Scan Mode.
Note: The operation must be finished within 3 seconds.
Note: While Auto Scan Mode is in effect, none of the other keyboard keys will function. You must exit Auto Scan Mode in order to use the console for anything else. To get out of Auto Scan Mode, Press any key .The port that was currently active at the time scanning stopped remains active.
